5 Weeks

Hi Everybody,

Tim and I are doing great. We just had two sections of the driveway removed by the home builder today. They were in really bad shape; cracked all the way across and oozing rusty liquid. The builders should be returning in the near future to pour new cement.

This week the baby is about the size of a sesame seed! Really tiny, but the brain is beginning to grow. I am still feeling fine, just a little more tired than usual. It is really hard to keep this a secret.

Great News! This week Tim and I found out we are pregnant!!!!

This was definitely planned…our first try. We are thrilled that it happened so quickly. We are waiting to tell the family until after our first prenatal doctors appointment on Friday, September 14^th (at almost 8 weeks). We can’t wait to share this exciting news with everyone.

Right now I am feeling fine. I am just a little more tired than usual and I am having to empty my bladder what seems like every hour or so; even in the middle of the night! Tim and I are thinking of switching sides in the bed so I don't have to walk around the room in the dark.

We are going to try to post weekly to keep everyone up-to-date on how the family is doing.

We have a DVD of all the images so let us know if you want us to burn you a copy. We still have to develop pictures from the honeymoon. We will try to post those on-line too.
